The Plains States
Location
Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. But Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming are an exception of the vast Plains.
Place
West part of South Dakota has The Black Hills extending into Wyoming. The Black Hills is home to the tallest peaks of continental North America east of the Rockies. The Plains have a vast high plateau of semiarid grassland. The land rises from the east to west and the temperature in the summer is very hot and in the winter it is really cold flat. There's a bunch of vegetation and many rivers lasting drought. Also, there is soil erosion through some parts. Located in the west region is high rainfall, frequent sand storms, and land that is eroded by wind and ice.
Human Environment Interaction
Due to extremely cold temperature all throughout the Plains States people can't adjust to those temperatures so they need heaters. Humans can't really adapt to it but to the environment yes they can. Vegetation is really scarce but they still can get all there environmental needs through imports from other countries.
Movement
People are in touch with each other by the internet, transportation, traveling and by mail.

Interdependence
Everybody relies on one another. North Dakota supply processed foods.
