If you are moving from remote learning to in-person learning and your student will need to ride the bus, you will need to register for transportation. The process may take a few days. Please use the link below to fill out the request.

Unfortunately, we have experienced internet outages this past week. The district is aware of the problem and is actively working on a solution. Teachers will keep in mind online learners and the limitations this imposes as well. Thank you for your patience.

It is important that your student log into Canvas each day. Students will be counted present if they attend a Zoom meeting, submit assignments in Canvas, or if they have contact with their teachers about an assignment. Please remember that your student needs to enter and complete assignments in each of their courses each day.

Also, your student has the opportunity to participate in Zoom meetings everyday for all classes. These meetings are not required, but I do recommend attending as many as possible. If your child cannot attend, that is ok too. Everything they need to will be housed in their canvas course. In addition to these zoom meetings for the entire class, the teacher will schedule small group times to assist students as the need arises.

Please be aware that everyone who enters the building will be required to wear a face mask or face shield. Please make sure the mask is clean everyday and fits properly. Also, note that vented face masks are not allowed as they do not provide adequate protection.

If you have a Chromebook or laptop, please have your student bring it to school with them to use in the classroom. This will help us to greatly reduce the amount of paper passed between student and teacher, in an effort to help keep them safe. If we issued you a chromebook in the spring, please plan for your student to keep the computer in their backpack, charge it at home and bring it back with them to school each day. If you do not have portable technology such as a Chromebook, laptop, or iPad, please email your student's teacher and let them know, so that arrangements can be made.

If you have a student at Cryar and could use assistance with supportive guidance counseling in small groups, tutoring, mentoring, enrichment activities, food, clothing and support with school supplies, please fill out the attached Parent Consent form in order for your student to participate. You may take a picture of the document and email it to mfox@conroeisd.net or you may deliver it in person to Cryar Intermediate School.
