One reason is that most of the time they are building way above ground an work all year around. Which means one slip, fall can equal to serious injury or even death. But also another reason is Cutting the metal, they use metal shears, what is very sharp. IF they cut their self it can cause infections, stitches or even permanent damage.

Job description

Safety Precautions

  • nets, scaffolding
  • fall protection harnesses.
  • fall protection gear
  • mini-breaks every 20-30 minutes to give your body a break.
  • include safety shoes, safety glasses, sturdy work gloves, and/or life jackets for over-water operations
