Beatris (Tris) Prior
Tris is in a constant struggle to figure out who she is. She is a Divergent, being selfless, brave, and intelligent. She decides that selfless and bravery are one in the same. She has the vision of a world where people are free to be who they want to be. She creates a mess of society by being divergent, but fixes her mistake through self sacrifice.
Tally Youngblood (Uglies)
Tally Youngblood is an Ugly (one who hasn't received plastic surgery to become a pretty.) She is stuggling to decide whether or not to follow her best friend, Shay, and run away to a refugee camp filled with uglies called the Smoke, or to stay and become a brainwashed pretty. She doesn't know who she wants to be. She believes in self-confidence and thinking for one's self, and helps her society be able to do so.
Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs was always intelligent, but as a child he had many issues with formal schooling. As a young adult he was lacking in direction and dropped out of college after 6 months. To start Apple, he had to sell his car and it began in a garage. However, Apple became a huge success and Steve Job's revolutionary inventions, such as the iPhone, are now seen as dictating the evolution of modern technology.

The children in this video are trying to find their identity and what they want to be when they grow up. A critical part of being a creator is the task of finding an identity and where one wants to be in the world. The Lego company wants to inspire children to break out of the box and use their creativity to help them along the way.
Texas Tech Women's Chorale "I am a Little Church"
The lyrics this piece show the struggles of finding an identity. The church in this piece is small and humble, but it doesn't worry for the future and works to rise up like the big churches.
