From the Principal
Dear Parents,
It is hard to believe we have two weeks left in 2017. What a great year we have had thus far with your precious children. This time of year is always special because many of you send me holiday cards and those are the absolute best gift. I have boxes of them from each year I have been at CCES and those are the things I treasure. I encourage you to keep sending them in to us so I can post them to share with staff.
Thanks to all of our students and families who came out Tuesday for Evening of the Arts. We had a spectacular time sharing the work of our students in the area of visual and performing arts. We have such talented students! Please enjoy the pictures below.
Our PTO is making advanced preparations to fill several vacancies for next school year. We have many new families at CCES, either new as kindergarten parents or new to our community. That said, we would love for you to be involved. Volunteering in your child’s school is a great way to be connected. We are looking for people who absolutely love CCES and will work hand in hand with school staff and administration. At the end of the day, we all do it for the students! If you have any sort of interest, I would love to have a one-on-one time with you. Please reach out to me directly. Many parents have unique backgrounds and talents they can bring to the table and offer a variety of expertise. It is often times easy to take a back seat and do small things behind the scenes. So many of you do this! I am asking you personally, to search deep inside to determine if stepping up to lead is something you are willing to do next year for CCES. We need parent leadership, and our staff and administration will help you every step of the way. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
