2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Grades
For the 3rd year in a row, we will be participating in The Hour of Code. The Hour of Code is a world-wide initiative to expose students of all ages to coding. This non-profit has partnered with companies like Facebook, Apple, Amazon and Google to promote how important it is to teach coding. Their vision is that every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science.
So far, we've learned to code by playing games using Angry Birds and Frozen. This year, the games are centered around Minecraft! Once your students participate in Brandon's Hour of Code, they can explore code.org to learn even more about coding.
