Field Day and Word Study Quizzes
2nd Grade Pizza Party
Permission slips for our 2nd grade pizza party were sent last week. Please return the permission form as soon as possible. Thank you! We are looking forward to a fun lunch celebrating all we have learned this year!
We are also still looking for volunteers! Please let me know if you are able help setup, serve, and clean up. Volunteers will need to arrive at 11:15. Thank you in advance for your help! Volunteers will need to have a background check on file, as well as completed the anti-bullying webinar!

We are Learning...
Students will be working on their novels. We will also enjoy poems.
Math:
Students will be working on probability. Students were also given the challenge to create a math game to share with students.
Writing:
We will continue practicing our paragraph writing. We will also be using mentor poems to write some of our own.
Science:
Students are participating in the Purdue STEM activity, how to organize a toy box. Students will be learning how to solve a problem using the Engineering Process. The eggs arrived last week and are in the incubator. We will begin candling them next week to observe and learn about the lifecycle of a chicken.
