Reducing Our Ecological Footprint
What does it mean to have an ecological footprint?
Having an ecological footprint means that we have an effect on the environment. Most of our energy sources are carbon based. We take these resources out of nature and what we leave behind is what we call our ecological or carbon footprint.
I chose this calculator because it asked specific but simple questions. It was short and easy to use and it took into account what area of the world I live in and compared me to other people in my area.
What is the "Carbon Market"?
The carbon market is a market that is created from the trading of carbon emission allowances to encourage or help countries and companies to limit their carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
How can I reduce my ecological footprint?

Convert methane to CO2
Use new technology to capture CO2 and put it into storages
Use anthropogenic CO2 in place of natural CO2
