Interim Report Cards to be Issued in Printed and Digital Formats
This year, 3rd quarter interim report cards will be delivered to parents in two ways:
Printed paper report card given to students to take home and
Digital report card delivered via email. (The parent/guardian that is listed as a student’s first contact in PowerSchool will receive the email.)
Both delivery methods will continue with the interim and final report cards for the reminder of the school year. For the 2022-2023 school year, we hope to be able to offer parents the ability to opt-out of a printed paper copy.
Families needing to update their contact information in PowerSchool may do so on the CCPS website.
After school Tutoring
We hope this new organization will make our Tutoring Program more accessible and successful.
Please email Ms. Sullivan, Karissa Barr, Julianne Hoffman, Haley Davis, or Abby Lorenc with any questions you have.
Another tutoring option
Caroline County Public Schools partners with an online provider to offer after school tutoring to students. Students receive tutoring in Math, Reading and Language Arts using an online program called Exact Path, which is offered through Edmentum.
Parents interested in learning more about the program and whether it would be a good fit for their child are encouraged to contact Elizabeth Anthony (anthony.elizabeth@ccpsstaff.org), Karin Miller (miller.karin@ccpsstaff.org) or email ExactPathTutoring@CCPS.org.or email ExactPathTutoring@CCPS.org.

Prom Update
Sophomores
Attention Sophomores!
Jostens will be taking orders on March 15. That will be the last day to order class rings.
To order online visit www.jostens.com or call 800-JOSTENS (567-8367).
Parents of all Sophomores
Many thanks to all the parents who have already signed up to work the concession stand. The students of the class of 2024 sincerely appreciate you!
Sophomores will be in charge of the concession stand during Spring sports. The funds raised will be used to offset some of the costs for graduation, homecoming, prom, senior trip, etc. Click here => Concession Stand Spring 2022 to sign up to work the concession stand. Please consider working multiple time slots.
Wellness Update
Contact Tracing Update as of March 2, 2022
Based on updated guidance from the CDC and the Maryland Department of Health, universal contact tracing is no longer needed in settings such as schools. Positive individuals in any setting are advised to notify their close contacts. CCPS will continue to implement isolation and quarantine protocols as outlined by the local health department. We will also continue to notify the local health department when a student or staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. When an outbreak is identified, as with any infectious illness, we will follow our usual processes of contact tracing and quarantine accordingly.
For more information, please visit COVID-19 Info & Dashboard on the CCPS website.
COVID-19 Testing Availability
The COVID-19 screening testing program through 20/20 GeneSystems has been discontinued at this time. Should the need arise to resume this program in the future, sign up information will be shared with staff and families.
For information about testing and vaccine availability in Caroline County, please visit the Caroline COVID-19 website.

Track Fundraiser
The track team is having an apparel fundraiser! The link is here: https://fancloth.shop/GKPSA
The track kids work really hard. If you know the track team, we are in desperate need of money and we earn money from our fundraiser based on the number of items we sell. There is more than just track gear here. There are jackets, quarter zips, t-shirts, sweatpants, etc. I am trying to get us the equipment that the kids need and deserve. Even if you would consider just getting a t-shirt, it would be a huge boost for us (and the prices are really reasonable).
The fundraiser goes from March 8th-March 22nd. Orders will be placed once the fundraiser is done and should take about 3 weeks to process and ship (they go directly to your home!). If you have any questions, please let me know!
Again, thank you for supporting track and the kids.
