Level 3 Bubble at Stanley Ave
Room 4 took on a new look with students from Year 1 to 6 all in the same class with 2 teachers. The key words for the classroom have been Social distancing, Handwashing and Sanitising as well as having FUN. The students followed along with their distance learning and were able to catch up with their classmates online as well as having one on one teaching in class. Miss Oldfield and Miss Griffin had plenty of cool activities lined up, including building Marshmallow towers, designing a cow, playdough creations, and You tube video drawings
Check out some photos of life in our level 3 Bubble.

Waitomo caves through the eyes of Alex Briones
The Tui trip was an intriguing experience,
Would I go back if I had the chance? Of course I would, I loved everything about Waitomo Caves, especially the boat ride and seeing the glowworms imitate constellations on the cave ceiling, even learning about the stalagmites and stalactites was entertaining!
The rough exterior on the cave walls gives the cavity character, well it’s a cave so obviously it would feel coarse to the touch. The glowworms (which actually are a species of gnat) gave off a subtle, gloomy glow, but they are almost as small as a dot when looked at from afar. I recommend this to anyone who wants to go there. The price is a bit steep but it’s worth it. Thankfully our fundraising helped bring the costs down for us.
