National Speaker
Each year the various school districts of the Pascack Valley, including Westwood Regional Schools, join forces to bring a national-level speaker to our community. This year, we are proud to welcome Dr. William Deresiewicz, author of "Excellent Sheep,” as he offers his unique and important perspective on what a quality education is, the purpose of schools, and how your child can be best prepared for a changing and unpredictable world.
The keynote address, followed by a book signing, will take place Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at 7pm in the Pascack Valley High School auditorium. All members of the community --parents, students, educators -- are encouraged to attend this event.

Setting Intentions:
Setting an intention is different than a New Year’s Resolution. While both are helpful, setting an intention is not about setting a tangible goal but rather setting a positive thought about how you want to live. Our intention becomes our reality, so setting an intention about opening our minds to peace and kindness focuses our thoughts on being peaceful and kind to ourselves and others.

As always, please contact me if you have any questions and/or concerns regarding your child’s social and emotional wellness.
