Weekly Update

Dear Families,

This Friday, March 1st, Kindergarten and first grade students will participate in our annual Dr. Seuss Day celebration! First grade will launch the event in the morning by watching The Lorax movie, and all classes will rotate through some Dr. Seuss-themed stations filled with fun activities. Some of the activities your child can expect to participate in include:

  • Dr. Seuss Bingo
  • Seuss Read-a-thon
  • Green Eggs & Ham Relay Race
  • Ten Apples on Top Counting Game
  • Truffula Tree Word Families
  • Sight Word Egg Flip
  • Cat in the Hat drawing
  • Seussville Photo Booth
  • Go Fish Memory Game
  • Cat in the Hat Rhymes

This is a great time to read some Dr. Seuss books at home with your child! Click here to check out a list of the Dr. Seuss books available for checkout at the Green Hills Public Library.

Just a reminder, school will be closed next week on Monday, March 4th for Casimir Pulaski Day. Have a wonderful week!
