School Improvement Plans due June 30, 2018
Focus and Priority schools will be required to resubmit their School Improvement Plan through the Comprehensive Planning web application by June 30, 2018.

Charter School Annual Reports due August 1, 2018
Attention Charter Schools...
As a reminder, your 2017-2018 Charter School Annual Report will be due by August 1, 2018.
The PA Planning Team and PDE’s Division of Charter Schools conducted a webinar on May 8, 2018 at 10:00 am. The webinar covered an overview of Comprehensive Planning, School Improvement Planning, Title I Schoolwide Planning and most specifically, the content and submission process for your Charter School Annual Report. Title I Schoolwide Plans due September 1, 2018
As a reminder, schools implementing a Title I Schoolwide program must utilize the Comprehensive Planning web application to complete a School Level Plan in its entirety.
All Title I Schoolwide Plans will need to be completed and/or updated in the Comprehensive Planning web application by September 1, 2018.
Phase 3 LEAs - Your Comprehensive Plan is due by November 30, 2018!
Our team is offering virtual, individual sessions for your LEA! One of our team members can meet virtually with members of your planning committee at a mutually agreed upon time(s), if you desire this assistance. We will provide assistance with the Comprehensive Planning process, web application, and/or requirements. Our assistance will be customized in order to meet your needs.

Attention Phase 1 LEAs...
Phase 1 Comprehensive Plans are due for submission to the Pennsylvania Department of Education by November 30, 2019.
Please be sure to review the communication that was sent on 5.31.18 regarding the changes for your Phase.
Phase 1 LEA Training Information
This year, we will be differentiating our training opportunities to best meet the needs of those involved with the comprehensive planning process. We will conduct three identical face-to-face sessions, each with a morning and an afternoon session.
If you are new to the comprehensive planning process, we highly recommend your attendance of the face-to-face session nearest you for the morning session. This session will run from 9:00 am to approximately 11:30 am, with sign-in starting at 8:30 am. The material shared during the morning session will be dedicated to those who have never led the CP process and who will have responsibilities for identifying the process for the new Plan, facilitating its development and/or its components. You may bring planning committee members or you may attend alone, as a lead for your LEA’s process.

The PA Planning Team is informing you of the upcoming Comprehensive Planning (CP) training for Phase 1 LEAs.
June 21, 2018 – Harrisburg PaTTAN (6340 Flank Dr, Harrisburg, PA 17112)

July 30, 2018 - Pittsburgh PaTTAN (3190 William Pitt Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15238)
If you have experience with the comprehensive planning process, we encourage you to attend the virtual training, which will be offered on August 30, 2018 at 9:00 am. Simply use this link https://paiu.zoom.us/j/130841505 to enter the webinar room prior to the start time, as registration for this virtual session is not required. The virtual training will focus on the required components to complete and a review of the submission process.
Finally, if you are interested in working individually with a member of the PA Planning Team to focus on the specifics of your plan, we encourage you to sign-up for a half-hour time slot during the afternoon. A member of the PA Planning Team member will provide tips for evaluating your current plan and revising it for your next submission. You may bring planning committee members for dedicated time with a PA Planning Team member or you may attend alone. During your scheduled session we can work to delve deeper into the comprehensive planning process and share best practices. The afternoon session will run from 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm, and you must select a time slot as noted below.

Locate the chart for the location you are planning to attend.
Enter your LEA or school’s name in the time slot that suits your schedule.
All who attend either session must bring at least one laptop per team. All “handouts” will be electronically dispersed and you will want to log into your LEA’s current Comprehensive Plan.
If you are unable to attend any of the face-to-face sessions, please plan on joining us for the virtual session on August 30, 2018 at 9:00 am.
