Driver's Permit Information
In Tennessee, students applying for a Driver's Permit must show proof of school attendance/progress with a letter from the school that is signed and dated by no more than 30 days prior to your Tennessee application.
Requests for proof of attendance letters should be emailed to Donna.Walker@knoxschools.org. Paper request forms are available in the school counseling office. Signed forms will be available for pickup in the school office each Friday if requested by Wednesday afternoon the same week. Forms will not be distributed on Fridays that school is not in session.

12th Grade ACT - Rescheduled for October 6th
- Students must arrive at school by 8:00AM.
- Virtual Program seniors will report to the gym. All other seniors will report to their assigned testing rooms in the main building.
- Seniors wishing to leave early must submit a parent note (available in counseling office).
Completion of the ACT is a graduation requirement in Tennessee, and it is a requirement that all students participate in this test under the direct supervision of a teacher in the classroom. This means that Virtual Program Seniors will be required to attend school in-person for a half-day on October 6th. If this poses a challenge for your family, please email deidre.wrinkle@knoxschools.org or call the school counseling office to request a voucher for a Saturday test. All students under quarantine on 10/6 will receive a voucher upon request.
Virtual Program Enrollment
We are now well beyond the enrollment date, so requests to switch between the Virtual Program and the in-person setting will be denied for the remainder of the fall semester.
Chromebook Device Insurance
Senior Picture Retakes
In-school seniors will be on October 28th during the school day from 8:30am - 3:00pm.
