Volcanoes aren't safe

Volcanoes erupt because of density and pressure. Volcanoes are also not very safe to live near by. Some volcanoes shoot out toxic ash. Also, if a volcano erupts on island, there is no escape. Even if there is ships and airplanes, there aren't enough for everyone. In 1991, Mount Pinatubo erupted and shot up Poisonous gas up in the air and lowered world temperatures.

What Volcanoes Can Cause

Volcanoes can do good things, and bad things. They can destroy crops and village. Also almost everything will be covered in ash and kill family members. Another thing that volcanoes can cause is lava, the lava can not be destroy, it will destroy everything in its path. A plastic flow is like the lava, except it goes 300 miles per hour. Volcanoes can provide resources for energy extraction. Also more people will come to see the beautiful landscape. The ash will flow over crops and destroy them, when there are mudflows, it will make. great landscape and the ash turns into growth soil for plants and farmland.

How To Prepare

If there is a eruption, you must be ready for it. You must have water, medicine, flashlights, batteries, and a mask. The mask helps you from breathing in the toxic ash and the water is for the medicine. Also the flashlight is for the night or day if there is no light or no electricity.

How Volcanoes Were Made

Deep inside the earth, between the molten iron core and the thin crust at the surface, there is a solid body of rock called the mantle. When rock from the mantle melts, moves to the surface through the crust, and releases pent-up gases, volcano erupts.
