M6 Update

M5 to M6

Marking period 6 starts on Monday April 5th . Please make sure your child checks their schedule and knows what teacher they have for M6: PE or Health. If they are going to Health class for M6 they need to know the room number of their Health teacher and they will need to bring their Chromebooks to class on the first day. Any student who has PE for M6, be sure to check your schedule for your correct PE teacher.

PE Activities

For the past 3 weeks students have been practicing and refining their volleyball skills that include the forearm pass, setting, serving with rotations and how to keep score. They have done a tremendous job with their effort and focus on each skill to allow them to apply and engage in the game. Congrats all students!


(M5) ends March 26th and the next marking period (M6) begins April 5th. Be sure to check your schedule in HAC for room assignments.

We suggest having a folder just for health class.


Currently in Physical Education, class will be rotating into the Fitness Room on a weekly basis. While in the Fitness Room, students will be engaging in mild cardiovascular activity on spin bikes, treadmills, or ellipticals. Students will also be taking part in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons. Sample topics include identifying emotions in self and others, how to use the Mood Meter, self awareness and management, and relationship skills.

Healthy Recipe

A "snack pairing" can be a great combination of one or more ingredients and easy to pack in a lunch. Some examples include:

Celery + peanut butter+ raisins

Apples + string cheese

Frozen grapes + Greek yogurt

Cottage cheese + whole grain toast
