Applying for Financial Aid
The 2022-2023 financial aid (FAFSA/TASFA) application will open on October 1st 2021
You will use the 2020 1040 tax information for parents and students.
The first step in the financial aid application process will be to create an FSA ID for the student and one for one parent. Once you have both FSA ID's, you will go to studentaid.gov (see image below) and begin the FAFSA.

Below are different types of financial aid you may be eligible for when you complete the FAFSA.

TASFA is for students without a social security number. If you have questions regarding your eligibility to apply for financial aid contact Mrs. Torres in the career center or the financial aid office at the college or university you plan to attend.
This is not a complete list of scholarships! Sign up for Remind or follow our socials to receive scholarship info as it is received from Mrs. Torres

It is a good idea to create a high school resume to assist you with your college and scholarship applications and to request letters of recommendation.
