Raising Digital Natives: What’s New?
What’s Now? What’s Next?
It can be daunting being a parent in these digitally-driven times, where our kids were born natives and as parents, we’re desperately trying to keep up. Katie Greer, a nationally-recognized digital safety expert, will update parents on the latest tech trends, safety issues, and tips on how to help our kids have a productive, healthy relationship with technology. Katie will be speaking to CES students as well as the middle and high school students during the school day on Monday, 2/4/19.
There will be an evening presentation for parents only on Monday, 2/4/19 at 6:30 pm at Carver Elementary School. Childcare will be available.

Try these problems with your children:
Grades PreK - 2: Estimate how many kernels of corn could be found in one unpopped microwave bag of popcorn? If a typical ear of corn has 800 kernels, is your answer greater than or less than one ear of corn?
Grades 3 - 5: If a bag of popcorn holds 110 kernels, but only ¾ of the bag popped, how many pieces of popcorn were popped? Show how you know.
