A Word From The Theatre Department
We would like to say a big THANK YOU to all of WHS for the help and support with hosting the District One-Act Play Competition. The kids did a fantastic job last week having the audience laughing while being thoroughly entertained. Although we did not advance to bi-district, the kids did their best performance to date, and there was nothing else we could have asked of them.
We did receive 3 individual awards:
Lauren James received an All-Star Cast Medal.
Robert Chavez received an Honorable Mention All-Star Cast Medal.
Trint Gardiner received an Outstanding Tech Medal.
We would especially like to THANK the band, choir, and E hallway teachers for the use of their rooms and Todd Jones and Alma Nichols for all their help and support.
We are currently looking to set a date for a public performance, so please stay tuned for more information if you would like to have a barrel of laughs watching the people of Fayro, Texas, show you some Southern Hospitality.
