BootCamp is enrolling. Are you on the list?
Choosing to become a member of Team Simplify is one of the best moves you did for yourself ...as well, as those around you! The sacrifices in the coming days and weeks will prove to make your stronger while learning to be a little softer.
Boot camp begins NEXT WEEK. I want to give you a little notice so you can follow along. Participation is IMPORTANT so please report back your TOOTS. Send us your QUESTIONS and rely on the TEAM to be there to cheer you on! YOU are NOT alone. YOU CAN DO THIS.... I KNOW YOU CAN.
BOOTCAMP will launch many categories. Cleaning- Organizing- De-Cluttering (our minds and homes) - fitness - goal planning
Time to De- Clutter!
If you have ANYTHING that is not put away, too much that just wont fit in the cabinet, or more than your closets will hold then that is WONDERFUL news! You get to take part in the De-Cluttering Boot Camp. I always say the first step is the hardest but once you see the difference you can make in just one hour. You will be on your way to success in each and every room!
As a professional organizer (and my husband sub titles me as a MICRO organizer) I see this is 98% of all homes. YOU are not alone. It becomes a way of living. Due to two parents that work, children with toys or simply stay at home moms that live in the home as a big play date of sorts. Life can be overwhelming and I want to help YOU ease your MIND while releasing the excess in your HOME.
These conditions do not happen overnight, so do NOT be discouraged on this journey... It will not change overnight but little by little you will begin to see the light and breath a whole lot easier. I want to HEAR about your successes and surely ASK all the questions you need to. PARTICIPATION is critical in this Boot Camp series and your TEAM wants to be there to CHEER YOU ON!
Boot Camp officially begins MONDAY and you will have a task EVERYDAY. If you want to be pro-active , why wait?! Scan you home and say YES I CAN! I will guide you to every drawer, every door and every room to a cleaner, more organized and happier YOU!.
De-Cluttering doesn't mean you will have to throw it away... On the contrary, it is having a place for it all AND putting it in it's place!
Are you READY?
EVERYDAY YOU WILL HAVE A TASK
THIS IS A 30 DAY PROGRAM AND THE GOAL IS TO THINK SPRING!
TAKE A PHOTO OF YOUR KITCHEN
DAY 1- OPEN EACH DRAWER, ONE BY ONE- CLEAR OUT ANY ITEMS YOU DO NOT USE
DAY 2 - OPEN PANTRY- REMOVE ANY OUT DATED ITEMS AND TAKE NOTE OF THE FOODS ON HAND AND MAKE YOUR GROCERY REPLACEMENT LIST
DAY 3 - OPEN CABINETS- REMOVE ANY UNWANTED OR CHIPPED DISHES. ASK YOURSELF DO I NEED ALL THESE? IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 8 MUGS YOU PROBABLY HAVE TOO MANY.
DAY 4 - LOOK AT YOUR SMALL APPLIANCES- DO YOU USE THEM ALL OR ARE THERE DUPLICATES? IF YOU HAVE A HAND HELD MIXER & A COUNTERTOP MIXER, CONSIDER KEEPING ONE. IF YOU HAVE A TRADITIONAL BLENDER & BOUGHT A NINJA YOU DO NOT NEED BOTH
DAY 5 - LOOK IN YOUR REFRIGERATOR- REMOVE ALL OLD FOOD. CONDIMENTS CAN BE OLDER THAN YOU THINK SO TOSS THEM AND ADD A FRESH REPLACEMENT TO THE GROCERY LIST. PLAN TO USE THE CELERY OR LETTUCE BEFORE IT GOES BAD= SAVE $$
DAY 6- LOOK AT THE COUNTERTOPS AND TABLE. ARE THEY BEING USED FOR MAIL AND A HOME OFFICE. REMOVE IT ALL. WIPE DOWN THE SURFACE AND REPLACE WITH ONLY THE SMALL APPLIANCES USED ON A REGULAR BASIS.
DAY 7- COOKBOOKS? DO YOU HAVE THEM...BETTER YET...DO YOU USE THEM? IF NOT TAKE THEM AWAY
This week of chores have left you with a PILE somewhere. UNLESS you are among the rare ones who has nothing in excess.
Now, we sort that pile into THREE MAIN CATAGORIES: DONATE SELL TOSS (**STORAGE- but we will talk more about this)
Within that "pile" choose a box that the items best fit. EVERYTHING but storage must leave the home immediately (take it to the car) Drive it to the local shelter, church- school or drop box. If you have items you wish to sell then drive them to the consignment shop and take the "toss" to the trash can right now!
REPORT YOUR TOOTS TO ME AND THE TEAM AND LET'S SHARE IN ALL THE ACCMPLISHMENTS YOU DID THIS WEEK! ONLY 7 DAYS IN AND A LIGHTER, BRIGHTER AND MORE HAPPIER HAS COME ALIVE.
