Safety Column
Fargo Public Schools recently received a grant to help establish the Stop the Bleed Program throughout the District. The $86,000 grant was awarded from the State Homeland Security Program and will help fund Fargo Public Schools' Stop the Bleed training, supplies, and implementation. Trollwood Mainstage Musical
Trollwood Performing Arts School is proud to announce their 2020 Mainstage Musical, Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella!
Cast auditions will be held February 29 through March 3, 2020. Orchestra auditions will take place March 11-14, 2020. All auditions are open to students currently in grades eight through 12 and students may sign up for an audition time slot by calling 218.477.6500. In addition, students may participate as a run crew member or technician by registering for summer programs beginning November 25, 2019.
Students auditioning for Trollwood’s 2020 Mainstage Musical, Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella are encouraged to sharpen their auditioning skills by enrolling in Trollwood’s Musical Theatre Audition Workshop (January 26) or by participating in the Musical Theatre Audition Prep, multi-session class. These classes and more are a part of Trollwood’s Winter Academy, now open for registration. Visit Trollwood.org for more details.

Dig For A Cure
On Tuesday, October 22, Davies High School and West Fargo High School played in their eighth annual “Dig For A Cure” Charity Fundraiser Volleyball Match. The schools raised money through t-shirt sales and “miracle minute” free will donations, collecting $3,553.53 for the American Cancer Society.

Parent Forum at Lewis & Clark Elementary School
On Tuesday, October 29, Lewis & Clark Elementary School hosted a parent forum. Principal Jason Cresap lead the discussion on the topic Social Emotional Learning. Mr. Cresap shared information about, and the key components of, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. He included topics such as the management and beliefs about behavior. Recycling Discussion at Eagles Elementary
On Monday, October 28, Fargo Public Schools Director of Maintenance and Operations Jim Frueh met with the Eagles Elementary School First Lego League (FLL) Robotics team and discussed District recycling efforts.
