ZOOM App Update

To keep up with Zoom updates, please ask students to delete the Zoom app off of their iPad and redownload it from Self Service. Once this has been completed, they will need to sign in through SSO again. This will continue to ensure that the Zoom app runs smoothly for students. For tech support, please call 224-655-1500 (available on school days, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
Big picture

Our BHS Fine Arts students and staff were inspired to create something special for the community during this difficult year and to provide students with an opportunity to share their talents. In partnership with BHS, Student Council and our parent groups, we are designing a large-scale event which is fun, safe and inclusive. Winter Wonderfest will feature an extensive light show set to music (designed by our amazing tech students!), live outdoor performances by BHS students, video projections on the side of the building, and fun winter-themed decorations celebrating various groups, clubs, sports, activities, and each of the schools in our district...all of which will be experienced from the safety of your own car! You might even catch a glimpse of our very own BHS principal dressed in a festive and jolly holiday outfit!

Tickets can be purchased through our Box Office Link. You will notice that tickets are spaced in 15 minute increments as we anticipate wide community interest and we want to make sure the Winter Wonderfest is enjoyable and safe. The cost of tickets will be used to support the cost of the event itself.

Thank you for considering bringing your family to this safe, celebratory, and large-scale event celebrating our wonderful students and programs

BHS Social & Emotional Learning Survey

Our school values input from our students to continue to monitor and improve programming for your children in the areas of Social and Emotional Learning.
In order to learn more about the experiences of your child at school, we are asking for their feedback via a brief online survey that will be administered between 11/30/2020 and 12/11/2020. This experience is similar to the SEL surveys conducted over the last 2 years during Physical Education classes.
All survey responses are confidential. No students at our school will see how your child responds to the questions. A separate organization, ECRA Consulting, will manage all data collection to ensure confidentiality.
The survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete, and will be an invaluable source of information for Barrington 220 as we work to improve upon the supports for our students in the area of social emotional learning.
We thank you in advance for your support. Should you have any questions about your child’s participation, please do not hesitate to reach out to your building principal.
