CONTENT DESCRIPTION
During this full-day round table forum Christina will provide an overview of statistics used in academic assessments, review new assessments tools, including correct scoring, administration and analysis of errors, and common mistakes made during administration of academic assessments. The conclusion of the day will end with tips for effective and useful report writing. Participants are encouraged to bring with them specific questions regarding administering academic assessments and writing reports.LEARNER OUTCOMES
As a result of attending this forum, participants will learn to:
- 1. Describe statistical terms used in academic assessments.
- 2. Accurately score protocols, adhering to correct basals and ceilings for particular tests.
- 3. Analyze patterns of errors in order to make appropriate instructional recommendations to the Team.
- 4. Name at least 4 common errors made by evaluators during academic assessments.
- 5. List the important components of an effective written report.

10:30-10:45 am...........Break
10:45am-12:00 pm.....Common errors made during administration and scoring protocols
12:00-12:30 pm...........Working Lunch and Networking at SERESC
12:30-2:00 pm.............Analyzing and interpreting test results
2:00-2:15 pm...............Break
2:15-3:30 pm...............Writing effective, useful reports; wrap-up

Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance for up to 5.5 contact hours.
