MS Night at Tiger Stadium: Join us at 6:30 pm on Friday to help make the tunnel on the field during pre-game warmups. Students will receive a concessions special coupon at school next week. As a reminder district policy requires students in grades K-8 to attend the game with a responsible adult.

Attendance has been strong during the first quarter of the year, raising our attendance to levels that are comparable to what our neighboring district middle schools achieved last year (91.8% in Kearney and 90.6% in Lawson). Maintaining a 90% rate for the entire year would raise Excelsior Springs Middle School's state attendance ranking from 286/309 to 169/309, an improvement of 117 places. Regular school attendance leads to higher levels of student achievement and college and career readiness. Today's year to date attendance rate is an improvement of over 6% from this time last year. Thank you for your support of student learning and your partnership in your child's education.
