Roaring Reader- DUE March 2nd

Students should have received a Roaring Reader sheet from their teacher. To earn a free ticket to Roaring Springs, your child needs to complete 600 additional minutes of reading at home. Sheets are due on March 2nd. Roaring springs will not send us extra tickets or wait on late returns. It is important your child's sheet is returned to his or her homeroom teacher by March 2nd. Tickets will be sent to the school in May.

Celebrate Dr. Seuss March 2nd

The primary school will celebrate Dr. Seuss day with a crazy sock day. You can wear any crazy socks or you can make your own. Be Creative!

Career Day

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Idaho Arts Charter School (IACS) is committed to helping our students with career development starting as early as kindergarten. One aspect of career development is exposing the students to many different types careers early on. One way that IACS can facilitate this is through Career Day on Friday, March 9th.

We are looking for volunteers to come in and speak with our students about their career for a 30 minute time period: two 15 minute blocks in 2 separate classrooms (your child’s class and one additional class). The presentation should include a description of your career, any fun facts, and time for questions from the students. Feel free to bring props or a flash drive with a Power Point to help explain you career.

The Career Day schedule will be:

  • 9:30am to 11:00am for kinder AM, kinder all day, first and second grade
  • 2:00pm to 3:30pm for kinder PM, third, and fourth grade

If you, a relative, or one of your friends is able and willing to come in to share about your career during Career Day please fill out the Sign Up Genius below:

If you have questions please do not hesitate to contact me at or 208-463-4324 ext. 304. We look forward to having a lot of different careers introduced during our second annual Career Day here at IACS Primary!
