Our BPS Values: Inclusion, Excellence, Innovation and LeadershipMessage From Mrs. Hurt
We are looking forward to Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday, February 13th and Thursday, February 16th. Parent-teacher conferences offer great opportunities to deepen your working relationship with your child’s teacher. Parent/school partnership is important in the success of all of our students. Links to schedule your conference have been sent, is noted below and it is also posted on our website.
Another way to be informed on your child’s progress is through Powerschool. If you do not have an online parent access account set up, please contact our office at (701) 323-4250. This resource allows you to check your child’s progress at any time of the year.
Drop Off Zone
This is a DRIVE-THROUGH zone ONLY.
Drop-off should occur only in the drive-through lane (RED - the right lane nearest the curb. See map)
Exit lane (BLUE - left lane nearest the parking lot. See map) is strictly for exiting this zone after students have exited the vehicle.
Students should NOT be dropped off from anywhere in the exit lane.
Dropping off from within the parking lot is strictly prohibited as it is a major safety concern and often blocks our handicapped parking spaces.
Students should be COMPLETELY ready to exit the car before entering the drive-through zone.
While in the drive-through lane, please pull all the way to the sign (RED X on the map) or until traffic is stopped.
Park next to the curb and come to a complete stop. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE
Students should exit vehicles IMMEDIATELY on the passenger side, once vehicles come to a complete stop in the drive-through lane.
- When a student has exited the vehicle and is making their way to the door, the driver should signal and turn into the exit lane.

The agenda for February will be updated soon on the PTO page of our website.
We want to remind you, every Lincoln Elementary parent/guardian, staff member, and teacher is automatically a member of the PTO. We encourage everyone to attend meetings and become involved so we can continue to plan and hold some very fun Lincoln events!
You can find all the information including agendas, minutes, meeting dates, etc. at our PTO page on the Lincoln Elementary website, linked below.
Art From the Heart
Lincoln Art Club will be held February 3, 10, 17 & 24 from 3:05 to 5:00. You can find more
information on Art From the Hearts Facebook page linked below. The cost is $40 per artist and there is a limit of 25 students during this and each additional session. Each month will begin a new session and registrations will take place for each session.
Kindergarten Registration 2/1-2/28/23
Children who are 5 years old on or before July 31 can register for fall kindergarten in Bismarck Public Schools starting February 1st. You can find more details on our District Registration website here: https://www.bismarckschools.org/Page/3781
Registration is open throughout the school year but parents are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible to help ensure placement in their neighborhood school. The sooner a student is registered, the higher the probability of them attending their boundary school. Due to capacity limitations, those who wait too long may be placed in a different school and required to wait until the following year to be enrolled in their boundary school.
Camp Edventure Registration
Camp Edventure is a free six-week elementary summer school program focusing on reading and math. Children entering grades 1 through 5 in the fall and whose parents live in the Bismarck Public School District are eligible to attend. Camp Ed begins June 5th and goes through July 18th (no school on July 4th and 5th). Classes will be in session each day from 8:00-12:00.
We encourage parents to register online to simplify the process. To register online, simply log on to PowerSchool at https://bismarck.ps.state.nd.us. If you don't have a login, contact our secretaries at (701) 323-4310 to get started.
- Once you've signed in, click on the "Forms" link on the left side.
- Select the "Camp Edventure Registration Form '', fill out your student's information , and submit.
The deadline for registering is Monday, March 20, 2023. All registrations received by the deadline will be guaranteed a spot. Late registrations will be placed on a waiting list and parents will be notified if space becomes available.
