TN READY TESTING
This week is when our state TN Ready testing begins. Below is the testing schedule. Please make sure all students get to bed early and have a good breakfast! Please encourage your students to take their time and do their best! Once a student starts a subtest, he/she is required to complete the test before leaving school. A student cannot start a subtest and leave school for an appointment, then come back and finish the test. These are guidelines set forth by the state.
Our students have worked hard all year and this week is just an opportunity for them to show what they know! We are proud of the effort of all of our students and know they will do a great job!
We will test each morning Monday-Wednesday of this week.
Monday- ELA part 1 test
Tuesday- ELA parts 2 & 3
Wednesday- ELA part 4
Thursday-no testing--make -up tests if absent

JSMS FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS
A free Physical clinic for current 6th and 7th-grade student-athletes interested in participating in athletics at Sevier during the 2019-2020 school year will take place during the school day on Tuesday, May 21. Students will ride a Kingsport City School’s bus to and from the ETSU Physicians Building on Ravine Street.
Students received a Physical Packet and permission form this week that must be filled out and returned prior to May 3 to be able to participate. The Parent forms (3 pages) must be filled out entirely along with a signed permission form. Due to a mistake, the 7th grade students did not receive their Permission form and will receive it this week.
Phycial packets and permission forms can be returned to your first period teacher or the front office.
This is only available to current 6th and 7th grade students. Current 8th-graders are not eligible to attend. They will have a Free Physical Day on Saturday, May 18. Please see the flyer in this Warrior Beat with information about the 8th grade day.
