Happy Jewish New Year! by Jack
Rosh Hashanah means New Year in the Jewish faith. At the Rosh Hashanah celebration we eat matzo ball soup, apples, challah, which is sweet bread and honey.I get together with my family and have fun eating, drinking and praying. We say special prayers at our celebration. My grandparents came and celebrated this holiday with me. What I liked most was eating the matzo and soup. The Seder, which is the Jewish word for the dinner, was made special by having grape juice. At the Seder, we dipped our apples in honey. The reason we did this was so we would have a sweet New Year.

We like to Kahoot! by Michael
Kahoot is a game we play in Ms. Fox’s class. Ms.Fox has a question on the smartboard and the students have to answer the question on their chromebooks . The questions are about something we have learned in one of our classes. For example the subject was science. The question was : SCIENCE IS : REAL
FAKE
OLD
The correct answer is REAL
Questions are multiple choice or true/false,like a game show and you need to be quick and correct . What is most important is to read the question carefully and remember if you get it wrong no big deal , Ms. Fox says “ THIS IS HOW WE LEARN AND HAVE FUN!”
HAVE A KAHOOTASTIC DAY EVERYONE !
American Culture in History Class by Gage
This week in History class, we did an assignment on American Culture!
Gage, Lexie, and Alexandra were in station 1, we were doing some research about ads in magazines. We wanted to show people who looked at our ads what America was like. Culture originally means “art” and also means, “the looks of other people.” Ads in magazines are one way people can find out about our culture and what we value.
Prime and Composite by John and Christian
This week in math we learned about prime numbers and composite. Prime numbers are numbers that have factors of one and itself. For example 2 is the only even prime number and the number 13 is prime. Composite numbers are numbers with more than two factor like 40, 70, and 100. We are going to work on prime factorization next week. Math is FUN!

In Science we are doing OIP's. OIP stands for -O-observing which is using your five senses to gather information. I-inferring is what you observed and using what you know to make an educated guess about what is going on and P-predicting which is using all this information and what you know to make an educated guess about what will happen in the future.
