The Leader in Me
This week our students discussed principles of Habit 1: Be Proactive
Classes reviewed the importance of pausing to and responding based on the principles of desired results. When we pause and think about how we want a conversation to flow, we minimize emotional outbursts, leading to a more positive outcome. This is a key concept with being proactive vs being reactive.
Highly Effective Practice: Pause and respond based on principles and desired result.
