What is the story line or plot?
This book is set in North America in a nation called Panem. This nation is divided between 12 districts and a capitol. Each year 2 representatives age 12 to 18 from each district are selected at random to participate in The Hunger Games. the games is a part entertainment and part brutal retribution for a past rebellion televised throughout Panem. 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors until they are the last person standing, while citizens of the nations are required to watch.
Did you like or dislike this novel?
In my opinion I liked this book. I liked it because it was very interesting, got me to want to keep reading more, felt very realistic, and brought out every scene very detailed to my imagination.
What was your favorite part? And why?
My favorite part of the book was when Katniss sings to Rue and lays flowers around her last good bye. I liked this part because Katniss shows her honor towards Rue and district 11.
If you could Change something what would it be and why?
I would not change anything in this book because I think it is well written the way it is and the layout of it is perfect.
Did you like the character/s?
Yes, I personally liked Katniss because she shows her confidence throughout the book and also her consistency.
What is your recommendation?
I would recommend this novel to all Americans of any gender 13 years or older because it is very interesting and rich in detail throughout the book.
