Germany's flag is traced back to the Medieval banner of the Holy Roman Emperor which had a black eagle with red claws and a beach on a gold field.

Germany is bordering the Baltic Sea and the Nort Sea. It is between the Netherlands and Poland, south of Denmark.

Located in Germany are the Harz Mointains and the Rine River Valley.

Some popular places in Germany are the Europa park which is the largest theme park in Germany. Also the Neuschwanstein Castle which is a symbol of idealized romantic architecture.

Germany's current currency is the euro. Before the euro Germany used the German mark.
