A Message from the Principals
March.... in like a lion, out like a lamb. It seems February is passing in the blink of an eye, and we are looking forward to sunshine and brighter days!
The month of March is usually a time of transition from winter to spring. As we hope for warmer weather, we want to keep our students focused on continuing to strive to do their best. We appreciate all the effort you put in at home to ensure this carries over into their school day, as it impacts their academic standing. Thank you to all our students, staff, and families for your continued support. We will be recognizing our next Cub of The Month in a couple of weeks. Please continue to talk to your children about the four bear paws, Caring, Helpful, Responsible, & Respectful.
Educationally yours,
Mrs. Lowe and Mrs. Murphy

IMPORTANT - CARPOOL INFORMATION
A few reminders to help us with getting all the students in the building on time:
Beginning Monday, February 28th the right turn will be coned off into the carpool on Conrow Rd. from Haines Mill Rd.
1. The entrance to the loop will be coned off at 9:00 am when the bell rings, beginning Monday, February 14th. After that, you will need to come to the front entrance and sign your child into school. The staff who are outside needs to be with the students when the day begins and it is not safe for children to be dropped off when staff is not available to supervise.
2. Please have your children ready to exit the car with coats, hats, and masks on. In order to ensure a safe, quick arrival process, staff are not able to assist with dressing students. If a student needs to ride to school without his or her hat, mask, and coat, please park and walk your child to the crosswalk.
3. Students should be seated in the backseat ready to exit on the driver's side. It is extremely unsafe for our staff to walk around the front of cars, take a child out, and walk back around.
4. Please stay IN your car at all times, a staff member will open the door and assist your child out of the car.
Please help us in our effort for the safety and security of the children.
COVID Vaccinations
Please be aware that under the NJ Department of Health's guidance, quarantine requirements are different for vaccinated and unvaccinated students.

Become an Observer in Canvas
If you have not already done so, please be sure to become an observer for your child(ren) in Canvas. The information below is from the district's webpage and will help you become a co-observer. If you have multiple children, you will be able to see everything for them in one place. Teachers will be providing a weekly overview for parents and notes for the week in Canvas.
To enable co-enrollment (observer) in Canvas K-12 your student will need to generate a pairing code and you will need to link the account. A parent may pair (link) to multiple children in the same parent (observer) account.
You will need to set up the pairing through a web browser like Chrome. You cannot enable pairing or observing through the parent app.
Co-enrollment means you can view grades, upcoming assignments and due dates, missing work, and teacher communication.
Teachers can send individual, group, and course-wide messages to students and parents.
Once you're co-enrolled, you'll want to set-up your notification preferences. Click here for instructions on setting up your notification preferences.
