Hats Off to Benchmark Testing : Thursday, March 12

The LMS cheerleaders are sponsoring Hat Day on Thursday, March 12. The original hat day was a bad weather day for us.

All students who want to wear a hat may pay $1 to their 2nd period teachers. The proceeds benefits amazing LMS cheerleaders!

Congratulations to the LMS Orchestras!

Both LMS orchestras (concert and symphonic) received Sweepstakes ratings during their recent contest. Sweepstakes is the term used when an orchestra receives the highest rating on performance and sight reading.

This is first time since Lee Middle School has been a middle school that both orchestras have received Sweepstakes.

Congratulations to Mr. Rumph and our fantastic orchestras!

If you have taken photos of your child in action at Lee extracurricular activities such as sports, band, orchestra, choir, student council events, or NJHS activities, we need your photos for the Lee Middle School Yearbook. Please email your best photos to Judith.groves@saisd.org. Thank you in advance for your help with the 2014-15 Lee Middle School Yearbook!

Notice to Parents & Guardians:

Your child came home with an important letter on Friday, March 6. Originally, the letter was to have come home on March 5; however, the bad weather cancellation prevented it.

This letter explains the federal No Child Left Behind Act, outlines the requirements of school districts regarding NCLB, and provides links to the Federal Report Cards for the district and individual campuses.

Please ask your students to retrieve these letters for you.
