K12 Annual STEM Contest
K12 is calling all aspiring scientists, techies, engineers, and mathematicians to step into the lab and enter our Annual STEM Contest! This year's theme is MAKE A SPLASH! Let’s encourage our kids to enter!
To enter, you'll design and build a Rube Goldberg machine—that is, a complex contraption of linked parts that creates a domino effect. The only other requirement is that your machine, in some way, makes use of water. How will your machine make a splash? Will it drop an object into a pool of water? Will it create an exquisite fountain? Will it make water change colors? Show us by creating your very own machine.
The K12 STEM Contest is open to all students in kindergarten through 12th grade, and prizes will be awarded to the top three winners in each grade level, as well as one overall "Best-in-Show" winner for the entry that blows our judges out of the water! What’s Your Story
