Boise School District librarians offer this monthly newsletter to provide tips and information about some of the digital resources available to both teachers and students.
All of these programs and tools are available at the Boise Schools Library Portal Page or on individual school library websites.

Gale U.S. History

Aligned to state and national curriculum standards, U.S. History in Context provides a complete overview of our nation’s past that covers the most-studied events, decades, conflicts, wars, political and cultural movements, and people. Comprehensive, contextual, media-rich information is provided on topics ranging from the arrival of Vikings in North America, to the stirrings of the revolution, through to the Civil Rights movement, 9/11, and the War on Terror. An always-intuitive experience supports the development of critical thinking and information literacy skills.

Within TED-Ed’s growing library of lessons, you will find carefully curated educational videos, many of which represent collaborations between talented educators and animators nominated through the TED-Ed platform.

Calendars - Browse and Add Interesting Calendars

Browse and find interesting local and national calendars to yours. Add the schedule for your favorite sports team, holidays for a different country or even the weather.

If you're coworkers have made their calendar view-able, you can add theirs with their email or you can get the URL for the calendar and add it manually.
