A Message from Mrs. Franciosa...

Hello Evergreen Families,

What a terrific week at Evergreen! Winter Break excitement has been in the air with 2nd graders making Gingerbread Houses with their families, 3rd graders reading stories with their families, all students participating in the Winter Holidays Sing Along, and many other fun activities happening in their classrooms. Mr. Gliatto, our music teacher, did a wonderful job preparing the students for our Winter Holidays Sing Along. The pictures below truly capture the joy of our students!

We will have a PV/Evergreen Spirit Day when we return on Tuesday, January 3rd.

I wish all of you a wonderful Holiday Season, a terrific Winter Break, and a very healthy and happy New Year! I truly look forward to this next part of school year and can't wait to see what wonderful learning and adventures our students have.

Happy New Year!

Flexible Instructional Days (FID) in 22-23

The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) approved the use of Flexible Instructional Days (FID) as an alternate form of instruction in response to inclement weather or other emergencies. On a FID day, instruction will be virtual. FID assist schools in meeting the required 180 student days. PA Schools may use up to five (5) FID per school year - in PVSD, we will utilize FID when all 3 inclement weather days built into the district calendar are used.
