Sight Word Egg Hunt!

Dear Parents,

On Thursday April 13th, we will be having a sight word egg hunt. This will take place in the afternoon after Field Day rotations and lunch. Each child will need to bring a dozen plastic eggs and a basket or container to gather them with to school by Tuesday, April 11th. Please fill each egg with treats such as candy (no chocolate or nuts), small toys, or other treasures. Please write a numbered sight word on each egg from the list below with a Sharpie and secure each egg with tape. We will also need a few parent volunteers to go outside and hide the eggs in their class’ designated area during lunch. If you would like to help, please let your child’s teacher know. This should be a fun event for the children and a great way to practice reading our sight words! Thank you in advance for all of your help.
