alleluia, the lord is risen!
Happy Easter! Through Jesus' resurrection, we know we are saved and have life after death. As signs of Spring this year have brought us signs of hope, especially during this pandemic, we know God lead us through most difficult times. May this Easter Season bring your family peace and health, and be a reminder of God's Good News!
April Family Faith Sessions: In Person!
Our April Family Faith Meetings are scheduled for the week of April 24. During that week, our Family Faith Sessions will be In-Person for families to join a combination of outdoor/indoor activities. Weather permitting, it will take place at Sacred Heart Church grounds, both along the sidewalk leading to the church and the Hall. Please come to this event with your family (do not plan to drop off your child or allow children to attend alone).

Sessions will be 60 minutes. Below are details about our April In-Person Session. We can't wait to see you then!

mass readings for sunday, april 17: easter sunday the resurrection of the lord the mass of easter day
In this weekend's Easter Gospel, we hear the story of Jesus' resurrection. His resurrection on Easter Sunday reminds us that we have been redeemed by Jesus, and given new life through Him. Because of that, we have hope for now and for the future, and we can share that hope with one another.
As Catholics, we celebrate that Jesus has risen. Because of that, we don’t have to fear the future. Our earthly bodies will pass away, but that’s not the end for us. We will gain Heaven and Eternal life, because of Jesus. That gives us Easter hope every day. He is risen indeed. Alleluia!

an easter hallelujah
Cassandra Star (age 10) and her big sister Callahan (age 19) sing this beautiful & meaningful Easter version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. Using this traditional hymn, Cassandra and Callahan update the lyrics for a most powerful description of Jesus' death and resurrection.
