SWHS Career Fair
Southwestern High School is hosting a Career Fair in the gymnasium for ALL SWHS students, grades 9-12, on Friday, April 22, during third block. All teachers are asked to accompany their students to visit the career booths immediately following their assigned lunch period. Those with last lunch will take their students to the gym at the beginning of the period to allow students time to visit with the fair vendors.
The Career Fair will be an excellent opportunity for students to interact and network with businesses and business people in our community, particularly for those students who know Pulaski County will be their home after high school. Many good careers, both local and in the Lake Cumberland area, will be represented, as well as businesses that are looking to hire interested students upon graduation.
3rd Block SENIOR TEACHERS: Be on the lookout for an email with more information for those of you teaching seniors during third period. A special workshop on interviewing skills is being held for some designated senior classes in addition to the Career Fair.
Success With Higher Standards
Southwestern High School will strive to graduate every student college/career ready and prepared for the 21st century.
