Dear Parents / Carers,
This week has been grey and wet but in school we are thankful to be learning together still, in classrooms that have not leaked thanks to the new roof last year.
As the country begins to open up a little, it has been lovely to hear the children talk about the things they have been doing for the first time in a while such as going to a friend's house for tea, playing sports at the weekend or visiting relatives that they have missed. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can relax a little more in school. I can't wait to lead a whole school assembly indoors or have all the children outside together at playtime rather than just with those children in their bubbles.
Please help us to stay on track by sticking to all the rules we have had to have in place all this time.
Over the next couple of weeks Mrs Fitzpatrick will be putting together a portfolio of the science work we have been doing across this school year as we aim to achieve the Primary Science Quality Mark. This is a huge piece of work and I hope you have seen the improvement in science across school. If you do have any positive comments on the science we have been doing in school, please contact Mrs Fitzpatrick through the school office. It would be great to hear what your children have enjoyed doing in science both in school and as part of their home learning.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Karen Williams

We're also in need of a hose pipe as the school one is passed it's best, so if you have any connections to a company or would like to donate a hose pipe please contact the school office.
