Administration Update

I am pleased to announce that we have hired a new Assistant Principal that will be working with our 6th grade students. His name is Clark Fredrickson, and he will start his tenure here at Hudson Bend on Monday, January 23rd.

Please read the following note from Mr. Fredrickson:

I’m so excited to be joining the Hudson Bend family! I am coming to HBMS with 12 years of teaching experience, including 10 years teaching middle school Social Studies in Fort Bend ISD. Since moving to the Austin area with my family two years ago, I have taught senior-level Government at Johnson High School in Hays CISD. I love to spend my spare time with my wife and son exploring all of the awesome things to do around Austin. I can’t wait to get to work with the amazing staff and students at Hudson Bend Middle School! Go Buccaneers!

I am grateful to have found someone as qualified and exceptional at his job during the middle of a school year. I am confident Mr. Fredrickson will be a valuable addition to our administrative staff and will have a positive impact on our students!

APEX Color Games is Here!!

During the Apex Color Games fundraiser, students will be challenged to get donations from family and friends to help our school. We’ll end the 2-week fundraiser with a celebratory event called Apex Color Games for students who participate in the fundraiser (think lots of color, games, fun raffle prizes, snacks, loud music, high energy, and FUN!) And WE NEED YOUR HELP!

These funds will go toward HBMS teacher grants and campus enrichment. Thank you for your support! Please see the flyer below for more information.
