Viola's Identity
Viola is a young teenage girl who loves soccer. Viola sees herself as confident and worthy so she takes the chance to go for the boys soccer team because the girl team got cut. Viola knows that she is a girl but she is willing to pretend to be a guy for to prove girls can play male soccer. In the movie "she the man' Viola says while in Sebastian room since he gone she can be him while looking at a picture of them looking alike, there she got the idea that she could be Sebastian.
Viola's Gender
Viola is shown as to be a male which is her brother Sebastian and she was going to pretend to be him so she can win the soccer game against her ex boyfriend for telling her she could not play in the boys soccer team. Also she was proclaiming to be a male to show she was determine for what she wanted. Viola was forced to act like a male because that was the only way she was going to make it on the soccer team with the other guys. Benefits Viola had doing this was she fell in love with Duke Orsino and she mad the man's soccer team and got to play with them. Limitations was she was having a hard time keeping it a secret and hiding it from when she did fall for duke.
People's Perception of Viola
Viola was playing her brother Sebastian and while she was acting like she was him Olivia Sebastian science partner started to be attracted to viola/Sebastian but viola was trying to get her with Duke but duke was scared to talk to her and duke was interested with her. But at the same time he liked viola so he was going through a bind. Viola mother looked at her like a tomboy because she never act like a girl.
Simalirites ans Diffrences Shared With Viola
Viola from the play and Viola form the movie are similar in a way of believing what they believe in and fighting for something they want and they were going through loops in the process and not only that but having unexpected things happening to them.
Differences that Viola have is that Viola in the play was very far back and distant and wasn't very responsive towards anyone but the viola in the movies was showed to don't care she was brave and different and she was outspoken and caring and showed some here feelings as a girl as well.

When viola enters the palace and Orsino says "has anyone seen Cesario ? and Viola goes on to say "On attendance my lord , here "(1.4.26-27). Viola was shown trying to be a guy name Cesario and she doing that to get close with Orsino but Orsino wants Olivia and Viola is being shown as to be sneaky and very quiet and she is nervous at the exact same time because she is trying to be someone she is not and that is taking out her comfort zone. Her identity in the play is to get Orsino and she is being a servant towards him to get close to him.
Viola's Gender "Twelth Night "
Viola is pretending to be a male name Cesario in the play and she is being like helper servant to the man she is in love with Orsino and she is acting and playing a role to be a man when really deep inside she is a girl and nobody knows the truth yet and she thinks that her brother Sebastian us dead as when they boat crashed. Limitations because of her choice is that Orsino loves Olivia and viola has someone in love with her and on top of that she can not tell her true feelings because she has to be something she is not and that is being a man to get close to the man she so calls it love and then she goes through people noticing her lack of manly traits and lack of male character and having to go out the way is also making it hard for her. Like she got into a encounter with the fool and he says "Next time gods sends out a shipment of hair , I hope he gives you a beard " (3.1.122-123). The Fool was telling viola that he notice she had no facial hair and that she really need that to be a men which was really scary because he could have blew her cover as being a men
People Perception of Viola "Twelth Night"
Mavolio notice that viola (Cesario) was talking to Olivia and then olive then started to like Viola so she sent back a ring with Mavolio to give to viola. So Olivia thinks Viola is sweet and that she is really a men. But Viola is wondering why she gave her ring when she didn't even give the ring to Olivia. Mavolio is wondering what going or why did Olivia give viola a ring if it doesn't belong to her." I left no ring with her. What means this lady?"(2.2 15-20). Viola was iffy about what was going on between her and Olivia why Olivia all of a sudden have a crush on her. Showing that other think that viola is men and that she is working with Mavlio as a helper to get Olivia but Olivia now wants Viola.
Similarites and Diffrences of Both Twelth Night ans She The Men
Both Violas are similar in many ways towards going through people figuring out that she in not a men and that many people can tell that she didn't have male feature and where someone fall in love with Viola when she mainly aiming for to get to her goal and others are hopping to it. They are both Different in the play Viola doesn't really know what going on she is clueless on the things that happening she not much outspoken than the other viola she think that she helping Mavolio but is exactly helping Olivia want her and that's way different from the movie The movie have Olivia Sebastian and using duke but twelfth isn't using anybody.
