Colour depths and ppi
Binary
Every Pixel on an image has a hexidecimal or binary code to represent the colour you see on the screen. if an image is 3X3 it would look like
10 10 10
01 10 01
10 10 10
this would show a picture of the letter I because 01 represents white and 10 represents blue. Each binary number represents a colour which is defined by the colour depth.
AND
The second picture of this lovely man has more colours because the colour depth is higher
