PTO Movie Night and Food Drive Kickoff!
The Sunrise PTO will be sponsoring a showing of the movie Toy Story (the first one that started it all)! All Sunrise families are invited to attend Thursday, January 25th. Doors open at 5:45, the movie will start at 6:30.
There is no cost to attend, however we are kicking off a canned food drive to benefit our local community, so donations of nonperishable food items are appreciated and can be brought to the theater!
This is a family event; all children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the entire event.
We hope to see you there!

January Curriculum Highlight - Mystery Science
The Mystery Science Program is designed to captivate the curiosity of students and make learning science an enjoyable adventure. The program employs a hands-on, inquiry-based approach to foster a love for scientific exploration.
Mystery Science offers lessons tailored to each grade level that combine entertaining videos, interactive activities, and thought-provoking questions. One of the highlights of the Program is its emphasis on hands-on experiments. Students have the opportunity to apply scientific principles in a practical and fun way. It has thought-provoking questions and activities, cultivates critical thinking skills, and encourages students to analyze, question, and explore scientific concepts.
The Mystery Science Program is an exciting educational resource that transforms the often complex world of science into a journey of discovery for students. By incorporating interactive lessons, experiments, and age-appropriate content, the program aims to instill a lasting passion for science in our students.
Parents/guardians must be volunteers in order to help in classrooms, eat lunch in the lunchroom with their child, or visit the playground to join their child at recess. The volunteer application is available by clicking the link below.
