This week 3rd grade students completed CMAS testing this week. I cannot say enough for the incredible work had effort that our 3rd grade students and teachers put into the testing. I was blown away by their focus and grit. Something else amazing happened this week during testing. It was incredible to see our K-2nd grade students and teachers cheering on, encouraging and supporting your 3rd graders and their fabulous teachers. It was so fun to see our school community come together. I even heard a 1st grader say "I got to meet the 3rd grader I wrote a note for, this is the best day ever!"

Just a reminder as the weather gets warmer and we have more workers, to take extra caution in driveline. Please remain off your phones and take an extra look before leaving the parking lot. We want to keep all our students and staff safe.

We are so excited to announce that we have a published writer on the K-3 campus. Mrs. Williamson, 1st Grade Teacher, has written a beautiful book titled the Mother of Monterey Canyon. You can learn more about this amazing book here. What an awesome way to put writing in action for our students. We are so proud of you Ms. Williamson!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us. It is our honor to partner with you in their education.

4-8 Campus

Four grades done with CMAS, one to go! I cannot tell you how amazing it is to have a building full of supportive, enthusiastic teachers and students who are cheering each other on to do their best on the test! Next week (4/26) our fabulous 6th graders will test in the area of math. If you see a 6th grader this weekend, wish them the best on the test!

Earlier this year NVCS applied to be a part of the Mizel Museum Eyewitness to History Virtual Program. We were chosen as one of a few schools to participate in this program and this week we hosted the program "Countering Hate with Respect" with Mr. Jack Adler. We Want Your Referral

New Vision Charter School is enrolling for the 2021-2022 school year and we want your referral! By simply telling your family and friends all the great things that are happening at New Vision and telling them to enroll you could get your 2021-2022 Student Fees waived. If they enroll and start New Vision in the fall, we will waive your student fees (not including athletic fees). It is a win-win.
