Career Day March 19th!
On Thursday, March 19, Holbrook will be hosting a school-wide Career Day. The purpose of this event is to provide students with the opportunity to learn about various careers, as well as the education and skills needed to be successful in those careers in the future. We are excited to announce that we have booked 40 presenters including a pilot, orthodontist, lawyer, veterinarian, forensics detective, archaeologist, pharmacist, and much more! Students will participate by attending three 30 minute sessions on the careers of their choice where they will hear presentations; see pictures, videos, and demonstrations, and have the opportunity to ask questions. We believe that this will be a valuable opportunity for students and presenters alike!
High School Visits and Registration Right Around the Corner
On Tuesday, March 10, 8th grade students will attend an orientation program at either Ashbrook High School or North Gaston High School where they will learn more about the high school experience and receive information about curriculum and registration. High school registration dates for feeder schools are as follows:
Ashbrook High School: March 26 and 27
North Gaston High School: TBD
Stuart Cramer High School: April 2
