2. Where are you from?
England (half Welsh) – I have to put that there just incase my Mother is reading this!
3. Do you have a family?
A big one! My Mum still lives in the UAE which is nice J
4. Your childhood nickname?
Clare Bear
5. What's your favourite food?
Spaghetti Bolognaise (with a lot of cheese on top!)
6. What are your hobbies?
Rugby and shopping
7. Where's your favourite place in the UAE?
Ras Al Khaimah – The marina is so pretty
8. Most memorable experience as a teacher so far?
Seeing these little ones grow into something amazing every year. Every day in pre-school we make new and wonderful memories
9. Can you share with us your funniest moment in your teaching career?
I coloured my hair really blonde, and I came to school and my students just looked at my as if they’ve seen a ghost, then one child said “Are you trying to be Cinderella??!!” I was in stitches!
10. How about your most challenging moment in your teaching career?
Wow, that’s a tough one. I think every day you face a challenge in teaching life. I would have to say inspections are very challenging (drinking through 10 cups of coffee did help though)
11. Who's your childhood hero?
1. Ariel from My little Mermaid – Who wouldn’t want a mermaid tail and live under the sea? J
12. If you weren’t a teacher, what would you be?
Probably a vet. I always used to like looking after my uncle’s farm animals.
