School Vandalism

Unfortunately, the beginning of our school day routine yesterday was disrupted due to smashed glass bottles along the entire front of the school. This was incredibly frustrating to clean up and an absolute waste of our time! The matter is currently with the Police. If you know or have heard anything about this incident that could be helpful to the investigation please get in touch with me on 021 138 1983 or john.byers@stanleyave.school.nz. Thank you for your assistance.

A reminder that due to not being able to hand out Attendance Certificates at the very end of this term, the term attendance count for these certificates will finish on Friday 3rd December. Attendance certificates will be presented to students on Friday 10th December in their classes. Students who have managed to obtain 100% attendance over the entire year will be presented with a special certificate at our End of Year Prizegiving on Monday 13th December.

End of Year Reporting and Class Lists

Please note that final student reports for 2021 will be sent out on the afternoon of Friday 10th December. Class lists for 2022 will be displayed at the gate on Friday afternoon and then again on Monday afternoon.

Meet the Teacher Afternoon

On Monday 13th December from 2- 2.30 pm, students will get the chance to meet their teacher for 2022 and be taken through to their classroom for next year. This allows the students a chance to connect with their new teacher and/or strengthen their existing relationship with their current teacher.

Swimming at Stanley Ave 2021

Great news!! The pool will be open next week, for our students to cool off, as Summer takes hold. We are just waiting for the final testing results and then we will confirm more details on what that will look like for your child/children and their class.

Junior golf

Come along and enjoy golf at the Te Aroha Golf Club. Wednesdays 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

All welcome.
