Jersey Day - Friday, February 5

The Kindness Council is excited to announce the next school spirit day, Jersey Day! Students and Staff are invited to wear their favorite team t-shirt or jersey on Friday, February 5!

Wednesday "Late Start" Logistics

On Wednesdays, the school day starts at 11:55a.m., with doors opening at 11:40a.m. Students using the YMCA SAC Program or Tier 1 Childcare arrive earlier.

The bus stop time for Wednesdays is 2 hours and 25 minutes later than the Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday bus pick-up time. (The afternoon drop-off time will remain the same.)

The last curbside pick up will take place on Wednesday, February 3, between the hours of 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m. For those needing curbside, please avoid school starting and dismissal times of 11:40a.m.-12:00p.m. and 3:30-3:55p.m. Following February 3, DLA Families will be invited to access the materials in the vestibule area.

Student & Teacher Connection Days

  • Elementary parent-teacher conferences (originally scheduled for Wednesday evening, Feb. 10 and Thursday, Feb. 11) have been replaced with student-teacher connection days. These are similar to summer assessments involving teachers meeting one-on-one with students. Student-teacher connection days will be during the day Wednesday and Thursday, so there will be no school for K-5 Wednesday and Thursday, Feb 10-11.

  • Friday, Feb. 12 remains the same, with no school for students in grades K-8.

  • There is no Tier 1 Childcare on February 10-12, however, the YMCA is offering fee-based, full day care at three district sites.
