Why Solar Eclipses happen
Solar Eclipses happen because the moon blocks the sun and we have a Solar Eclipses!
Solar Eclipses can last up to 7.5 min.
Now lets talk about the Lunar Eclipses...
Lunar Eclipses
A Lunar Eclipses occurs when the Moon passes directly behind the Earth into its umbra (shadow). This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are aligned (in "syzygy") exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle. Hence, a lunar eclipse can only occur the night of a full moon.
Many Solar Eclipses!
When you see them, you see them once because all Solar Eclipses are different to other Eclipses ( you can look in pictures or video).
